Online applications are invited from Indian Citizens and such other nationals as declared eligible by the Government of India for recruitment to the posts of Tutor/Demonstrator for Gynaecology & Obstetrics in the cadre of West Bengal Medical Education Service under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal.
Note: Posts are temporary but likely to be permanent.

Details of Vacancy :
Tutor/Demonstrator – 04 Posts
Age Limit :
Not more than 45 years as on 1st. January 2021 i.e. relaxation may be given to such doctors who have served under this State Government to an extent equivalent to the period of such service, subject to a maximum of five years.
Pay Scale :
{Level 16: 56100 (BP) + 13464 (NPA) + 6732 (HRA) + 500 (MA)} i.e. Rs.76796 as per ROPA 2019.
Education Qualification :
Essential:
- MBBS Degree from an MCI recognized University by the regulations made by the Medical Council of India and included in the First or Second or Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act,1956(102 of 1956); The candidate must possess the permanent Registration Number from WBMC / MCI. The candidates having registration from other State Medical Council are required to register with WBMC.
- *** Weightage will be given to candidates holding recognized Postgraduate Degree in the concerned discipline.
Desirable :
- Publications in journal Indexed Medicus or National level journals of the National Academic Organizations.
- Two years' service experience in rural areas.
Application Fee :
- Candidates must submit online the application fee amounting to Rs. 210/- (Rupees two hundred ten) only.

Candidates Can Pay Fee through GRIPS ( Govt. Receipt Portal System ), Govt. of West Bengal under the Head of Account '0051-00-104-002-16'. Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash, etc. shall not be acceptable. No application shall be considered unless accompanied by the requisite application fee.
